Next Gen is the first startup we've worked with since With Jack where VC funding was neither needed nor sought. Bootstrapped with friends and family investment, the founder boasts exceptional industry pedigree and experience.

Alan Hickman has been really focused on getting a product he knows can compete in what are very saturated smaller ticket/ higher volume markets. His laser focus on scale that can bring distribution has been impressive. I must say, so has the early delivery of growth.

His mindset has been very tech focused and we've been in the position to enable part of that journey, too, with core licensing he's product managed and customised to his own ends.

We can't wait to see the launch of further products - this is the closest to traditional insurtech you'll find on our network - and that is meant as a compliment. A lot of insurtechs may not appreciate the reality of the market they are about to enter - none could accuse Next Gen and its founder of anything other than being a man with a plan.
